Our Mission is to enhance the overall wellbeing of our local community by providing accessible and affordable wellness opportunities for all.

Board of Directors
Jen Gartland
President
Jen is fulltime Project Manager at Seawall and Deck Restoration, a Primal Health Coach, and single mom to three teens.
She leads Bootcamp and Mobility classes for TWW.
Chase Blackmore
Vice President
Chase is the newest gym teacher and Varsity basketball coach at Au Gres High school.
This Tawas grad volunteers his time leading Bootcamp classes and assisting with our social marketing.
Jen Pintar
Secretary
Jen is a recently retired Michigan State Police Officer.
She serves as the Board Chair for the New Hope Church in East Tawas. This mother of two college-age children is also a competitive pickleball player.
Michael Newman
Treasurer
Michael is a retired CPA and new TWW member. He jumped right in and volunteered to serve as our Board Treasurer.
Michael and his wife enjoy home renovation projects and making new friends at TWW events.
Members at Large
Mary Miller
Mary is a founding TWW member. She works at Tawas high school as the Media Center Specialist and Educational Assistant. She is a member of our 5K Committee.
Jerry Malone
Jerry is a manager at Iosco County News Herald. He organizes the annual Summerfest Car Show in East Tawas. Jerry is also known for his incredibly fast power-walking skills.
Kevin Couturier
Kevin works fulltime at Consumers Energy. You can always count on this triathlete and father of three showing up to our 5k, even in the dead of winter!
